I have been a dancer for as long as I can remember.

Tango took me much further than I could have imagined. I traveled the world, performed on stages I had dreamed about and others I never expected to reach. I even had the opportunity to be part of an Argentine tango production on Broadway.

After years of dancing, I came to understand that a shoe is much more than an accessory. It becomes part of the body — influencing the way we move, connect with the floor, feel and express ourselves.

I also began to see something missing: the world of tango was changing. So were the women within it, and the ways we experienced and participated in the dance. I wanted to create something that could grow alongside us. That is how Fulana was born.

Our shoes are made in Argentina using carefully selected leathers and crafted by skilled artisans. They are designed from the perspective of someone who has spent a lifetime dancing, with an understanding of movement, versatility and the demands placed on the body.

For the past 4 years, I have been building Fulana independently, turning an original idea into a new chapter of my life. And along the way, Fulana has become something bigger than footwear. I want to build a company that creates opportunities for women in the industry, and a community where different women from around the world can see themselves represented.

Fulana is still evolving. Just like the women who wear it.
